OK, so I'm still working on this.

I was born in 1962 in New York City.

Since early 1987 I have lived in San Francisco.

I have been an avid user of The WELL, a computer conferencing system, since 1987 and was the manager of Customer Support there from 1992-1994. In early 1994 I started my company, Internet Literacy
Consultants.

I attended the United Nations International School from 1st grade therough 8th grade (about age 6-13) and then Bronx High School of Science for less than a year. I left BHS to attend "City As School", a public alternative school where students received credit for working in real-world situations.

From about 1974 - 1980 I was very involved with the Pacifica Radio station WBAI-FM (99.5) in New York City. I kind of grew up there.
