ILC Client Profile
Macworld
In April, 1995, ILC began working with Macworld Online to assist them in designing and building a state-of-the-art web site. This site, scheduled to open to the public in mid-August of 1995, features:
- Access to the full text of Macworld features, columns, and reviews.
- A shareware library where every item is reviewed by Macworld staff.
- Web-based discussion forums.
The staff at Macworld will use
href=http://www.matisse.net/webtools.webgen.html>Webgen, a program codeveloped by ILC and Bonsai Software,
to enter and update the product evaluations and other information for the website. Webgen takes a database merge file and from that file generates HTML files. Webgen makes creating and updating large websites very simple requiring simply that one updates the database and run Webgen.
