In late 1994 and early 1995 ILC helped University Video Communications (UVC)
think through and decide how to present themselves on the Internet.
Once UVC decided to establish a WWW server carrying their catalog, ILC arranged for the hardware and software needed, and designed and built the server to take advantage of the database of products that UVC already maintains.
The entries in the UVC WWW server originate as output from a database program, which is then processed with a perl script to produce the final HTML.
UVC produces and markets video tapes in which distinguished engineers and professionals explain important topics such as networking, the info superhighway, object technology, distributed computing, software engineering, etc. Currently, UVC
distributes tapes in over 100 countries.
The full UVC catalog is online.
