ILC Client Profile
LucasArts Entertainment Co.

ILC and the LucasArts Entertainment Co. worked together from early through mid 1995 to develope a World Wide Web server. This server includes
areas devoted to LucasArt's product catalog, Human Resources department, Technical Support, and The Adventurer -- LucasArts' quarterly magazine.

ILC developed this server and was a participant in every step in creating it from the initial planning to final installation. The server is made searchable with a combination of FreeWAIS-sf 1.1 and a program created by ILC and
Brian Wilson, Brian Gate,
which allows users to run Wais searches through a web form.

The content of the server is generated by a program codeveloped by ILC and Bonsai Software called Webgen.
WebGen takes a database merge file and from that file generates corresponding static HTML files -- this set of files includes many level of index pages. WebGen makes creating and updating large websites very simple requiring simply that one updates
the database and run WebGen.
